Spring Evening Tea


It’s a perfect warm spring evening, just as the chill of night means you need to put on something a little warmer than your t-shirt… Refreshing and relaxing, an amazing blend.

Y’all need to get into it!

It goes without saying that we only want organic herbs for our magic elixirs, right?!

for a small teapot, you need:

1.5 teaspoons of Red Raspberry Leaf

1.5 teaspoons of Tulsi (Holy Basil)

pinch of dry English Lavender bits

As always with herbal teas, don’t have the water too hot. About 85°c (185°f). You can drink it warm, or it has enough flavour to be pretty decent as a cool tea too.

Raspberry leaf is full of vitamins and minerals including vitamins C, E, A and B complex and calcium, iron, phosphorus and potassium. It’s often used as a female tonic.

Tulsi, Raspberry leaf and Lavender all excellent de-stressors, Tulsi will also promote restful sleep. However, unlike things like Chamomile I don’t find it necessary to restrict it to night-times.

It’s also a great blend for colds and flu.

But most importantly, it’s just yum!
